Spent my career as a Reliability Engineer which means I was responsible for the products working without failure and verifying redundancy, when appropriate, was implemented correctly. I worked originally at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids Iowa for a few years before settling down in Melbourne Florida working for Harris corporation for 38 years. I worked mostly on Space programs.

My proudest achievement is having no failures for the entire 25 plus years of Hubble telescope fine guidance control.

I played 20 plus years of slow pitch softball. Turns out I was quite competitive. Now it seems like another person did that. Such a long time ago. Now I play golf and take advantage of the year round playing opportunity and low cost in Florida.

Of course my wife is my best decision. We now concentrate on cruising for fun. Royal Caribbean is our preference.

I've got two successful daughters. Michelle is single and working at General Electric in software testing.
Jennifer is married with three children and works for the US government in the Agricultural department.
