Although I hadn't seen Dennis in a while, I have great memories of out time together at St. Mary's. Riding around with Slay after a St. Mary's function was truly an epic adventure. R.I.P. Dennis.

Denny and I traded puns all during football season. He HAD to be the slimmest lineman in High School football. My fondest memory of Denny was when we were collecting money as a class for some worthwhile event and Denny brought the Old Newsboy's red pouched aprons. Say hello to Bro Barber "trooper". Enjoy your reward.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Slay family. He was just too young to have left us. Even though he may have left this world, he will always be remembered by his fellow classmates as a Dragon from the Class of '71.

Sad news to hear. Way too young for Dennis. Always had a great time with him & he made some great memories for '71 Class that will last forever. God keep you close to Him & Bro Barber. Rest in peace !!!!

Still remember you as young, lean, wearing alligator shoes to school, with the full length black leather coat. For our class, you gave us an image that lasts. It's difficult for those you left behind, at home. I am sorry to see this happening.

Rest in Peace, Dennis. My condolences to your family and friends. Your spirit and the Spirit of '71 lives on.
